Always believe that something Wonderful is about to happen...
Morning of Recollection
For a few hours once a month a priest of Opus Dei gives meditations based on scripture and there is a talk on how to grow in virtue.
The purpose of this time is to deepen the connection between faith and life and set goals in an atmosphere of quiet reflection. The schedule includes time for the Sacrament of Penance and/or spiritual direction.
The mornings of recollection are normally held on the third Saturday of every month. They start promptly at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. 760 Pollard Boulevard SW, Atlanta, GA 30315
Girls Clubs
Aware of the impact of peer pressure on their daughters, a group of moms have banded together to foster an environment where girls can cultivate virtues, leadership skills and strong interpersonal relationships.
Girls Clubs provide a place where girls and young women can grow, learn, have fun, and develop confidence in their ability to make a difference in the world. These activities also give high school and college women the opportunity for leadership and service.
During the year, high school counselors, many of them former club members, assist club leaders with activities and also serve as role models for the younger girls.
